This year’s event will also pay tribute to the late Doris Yaffe, a force within Boston’s fashion scene. She had a passion for nurturing young, creative artists. An award in her name will be announced during the show.

The ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ Fashion Show showcases bold design, artistic excellence, and forward-thinking talent, drawing industry professionals, alumni, and the greater Boston arts community to witness the future of fashion. All proceeds from the ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ Fashion Show provide scholarships for students in our fashion design program, one of the oldest and highly-regarded programs in the country.

The only independent public college of art and design in the country, ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ was founded in 1873 in response to a bold idea: art and design are essential to our daily lives, and key to improving our society and economy. What began as a school to teach drawing is today a bold, comprehensive art and design institution that spans 18 undergraduate and nine graduate programs, certificates, continuing education, and post-baccalaureate study.
